In 2024, the Andalusian Public Foundation Barenboim-Said has continued to strengthen its commitment to excellence in music education at all levels. The Children’s Music Education project has continued to develop successfully on the eve of its twentieth anniversary, while in the symphonic concerts in December, the Foundation had the honor of having Oksana Lyniv as the conductor of the Barenboim-Said Foundation Orchestra, with the participation of Michael Barenboim as soloist.

In the training field, the Academy of Orchestral Studies has incorporated both Michael Barenboim and our former student and oboe soloist in the Staatskapelle Berlin, Cristina Gómez Godoy, as professors, thus strengthening the link between artistic excellence and teaching to new generations.

Similarly, the Foundation has brought music closer to the public with free concerts in emblematic spaces such as the Real Alcázar of Seville or the chapel of the San Telmo Palace, and has reaffirmed its commitment to the international dimension of the project through the continuity of its educational work in Palestine.

En 2023 la Fundación Pública Andaluza Barenboim-Said ha continuado consolidando su compromiso con la educación musical de excelencia en todos los niveles. El proyecto de Educación Musical Infantil ha seguido desarrollándose con éxito en las vísperas de su veinte aniversario, mientras que en los conciertos sinfónicos de diciembre la Fundación tuvo el honor de contar con la maestra Oksana Lyniv al frente de la Orquesta Fundación Barenboim-Said, con la participación de Michael Barenboim como solista.

En el ámbito formativo, la Academia de Estudios Orquestales ha incorporado como profesores tanto a Michael Barenboim como a nuestra antigua alumna y solista de oboe en la Staatskapelle Berlin, Cristina Gómez Godoy, fortaleciendo así el vínculo entre la excelencia artística y la enseñanza a nuevas generaciones.

Del mismo modo, la Fundación ha acercado la música a la ciudadanía con conciertos gratuitos en espacios emblemáticos como el Real Alcázar de Sevilla o la capilla del Palacio de San Telmo, y ha reafirmado su compromiso con la dimensión internacional del proyecto a través de la continuidad de su labor educativa en Palestina.
